Padua Composite Pre-University College stands today as a testament to the visionary leadership of Most Rev. Victor R. Fernandes, the then Bishop of Mangalore, whose unwavering commitment to education laid the foundation for one of the region’s most respected institutions. Established in 1944 as Padua High School and later upgraded to a Pre-University College in 2000, the institution continues to uphold his dream of providing quality education rooted in faith, knowledge, and service.
Founded under the Catholic Board of Education, Mangalore, and administered by Bendur Parish, Padua is a Religious and Linguistic Minority Institution dedicated to nurturing young minds through academic excellence, moral integrity, and holistic development. While inspired by Christian values, the institution warmly welcomes students from every religion, caste, and community, fostering a culture of inclusivity, respect, and harmony.
The vision of our founder extends beyond academic success.
